CODA's singular carving snowboards deliver to you a fully-customized ride that can hold an edge through the deepest of carves. All CODA boards feature an aggressive radius sidecut for superior edge hold, CODA's adjustable tension tail-cable innovation for the extreme of variable-flex performance, and CODA's Deep-V swallow-tail for decreased drag and a lower tail-end ride in powder. Of course, all CODA boards include complete graphics customization printed in-house for the fastest turnaround. With CODA your ride will be truly one-of-a-kind.
The CODA Sideways 166 and Sideways 158 now bring CODA graphics and performance to freesyle riders. Feedback from this offering have been very enthusiastic.

Graphic uploads occur after completion of your purchase, or at your convenience using our graphics upload page.

Deck design modifications beyond graphics customization are possible by special order. Want a board wider, longer, or stranger than what you see listed? Just ask, and we'll see what we can do. All CODA boards are individually hand-crafted after you place your order. Some minor cosmetic blemishes do occasionally surface from this hands-on process. Also, take note of the new options for a metal dampening layer and monoboard hole patterns!

The V-Zero Sidecarve is based on the
original carving "Tool" that started it all:

•  10 meter sidecut radius  [ see model comparison chart ]
•  170 cm. long with an effective edge of 166 cm.
•  24.5 cm. across at the tip and tail
•  19.5 cm. across at the bindings

     The V-0 Sidecarve is a very stable all-mountain carving snowboard.  It is quick edge-to-edge, and has an excellent hold in all conditions.  The V-0 Sidecarve is probably the best board from CODA for riders who are new to carving or for the advanced carver looking for a great all-mountain board that will perform well in more varied conditions than the traditional racing, nordic snowboards.
     The V-0 Sidecarve gives the quick response of a CODA carving board, while allowing for the possibility of wash-out when desired.

V-O-XL SIDECARVEV-O-XL Sidecarve snowboard:  $599

The V-Zero XL is a longer version of the
original carving "Tool" that started it all:

•  185 cm. long with an effective edge of 181 cm.
•  25.5 cm. across at the tip and tail
•  19.5 cm. across at the bindings

     The V-0-XL Sidecarve is the response to prototype feedback requesting a longer and wider V-0 Sidecarve variation for larger and taller riders.
.     The V-0-XL Sidecarve is a very stable board that is quick edge-to-edge and has an excellent hold in all conditions.  The advantages of the V-0-XL over the original V-0 are similar to the advantages of traditional snow ski longer lengths over shorter lengths.  For a rider with the physical build for a longer effective riding edge, the V-0-XL distributes the weight of a rider over a longer edge, for less drag and a faster ride.  Turning a longer edge, however, may be a more difficult task for a rider of slight build.
     The V-0-XL Sidecarve gives the quick response of a CODA carving board, while allowing for the possibility of wash-out, if needed.

V-2-10 SIDECARVEV-2-10 Sidecarve snowboard:  $499

The V-2-10 is a wider version of V-0:

•  2 cm. wider than the V-0
•  10 meter sidecut radius  [ see model comparison chart ]
•  170 cm. long with an effective edge of 166 cm.
•  27.5 cm. across at the tip and tail
•  21.5 cm. across at the bindings

     The extra width of the V-2-10 allows for deeper carving and gives extra surface area for a higher ride in powder.  The wider board does make it less quick from edge to edge than the V-0, but instead encourages long, deep carves.

     This is a carving board.  The V-2-10 is the board currently preferred by most of the CODA staff and prototype beta testers.  It performs aggressively riding bumps, chutes, and freestyle snowboard parks.  A great all mountain board.  Like all our boards, the Deep V in the back half allows the tail to sink in the powder, effectively lifting the nose and making it rock out in the deep snow as no plain tail snowboard can.

SIDEWAYS 166 & 158

The Sideways is a freestyle board in one of two lengths:
166 cm. length
    •  29.5 cm. wide at the tip
    •  25.4 cm. across at the bindings
    •  29.5 cm across at the tail
    •  10m SCR zero binding offset from center
158 cm. length
    •  29 cm. wide at the tip
    •  25 cm. across at the bindings
    •  29 cm across at the tail
    •  10m SCR zero binding offset from center

     At CODA we like to ride every type of snow toy, and therefore we needed a freeride snowboard option.  This led to the CODA Sideways boards.
     These are seemingly stiff boards in both flex and twist, but they hold an edge phenomenally in all conditions.  You can really get up on edge aggressively, pushing into the board without too much worry that the nose or tail will wash out when you don't want it to.  They have a smooth feel in the transition, easily changing edges.  We also offer the options of monoboard hole patterns and metal dampening (see below).

Construction:  Horizontal laminate wood core, 22 oz triax glass, and the CODA hybrid cap/sidewall construction.

For discerning riders, Coda's metal construction option incorporates an aluminium alloy layer to improve dampening and edge-hold. Metal construction with aluminium alloys such as AMAG's "Titanal"© aluminium alloy recently received increased attention during the 2008 Winter Olympics, but, actually, metal construction boards have been in production for more than 40 years. Our own beta testers liked the nuanced improvement of metal construction.
